In this presentation, learners will travel down a journey which has allowed one facility the opportunity to transform from a time-honored “get ‘er done” attitude prevalent to the Midwest, to one which champions a culture of employee driven safety, owned by operations and supported by leaders at all levels of the organization. During this journey, learners will be exposed to stories, lessons learned and key milestones that have positively impacted not only the safety culture, but the organizational culture as well. What originally set out to be a process focusing on injury reduction has evolved into a mind-set of “Transformational Leaders” at all levels, willing to change themselves in order to change the organization.
